CSS Sliding doors technique for resizable boxes with a header

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 01, 2010    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net

Ok, have been searching the web like crazy without result.What I need:1. Resizable rounded corner boxes, meaning that I can can type any width up to 800px and any height up to 500px and the box will nicely resize.2. The round top part of the box must have a different style and must be able to contain text (header). See here what I mean: http://modxcms.com/about/team/rthrash/simple-rounded-corner-css-boxes.html(could use that example, but it has very specific requirements for the measurements which I dont like)3. no use of tables ofcourse4. as few images as possibleAny good examples?

Rendering ASP.NET Script References into the Html Header

One thing that I've come to appreciate in control development in ASP.NET that use JavaScript is the ability to have more control over script and script include placement than ASP.NET provides natively. Specifically in ASP.NET you can use either the ClientScriptManager or ScriptManager to embed scripts and script references into pages via code.

XSLT: Simplify Development and Maintenance of Microsoft .NET Projects with Code Generation Technique

Code generation techniques using technologies such as XSLT are playing an increasingly important part in software projects as they support the development of a rapidly maintainable code base. This article discusses some of the benefits and possible applications of code generation.To demonstrate these techniques the author develops a Web Forms application that supports the maintenance of records in a SQL Server database, using the database's own metadata to drive the generation process. The SQL Server database schema is extracted using SQLXML 3.0 data access and processed through XSLT stylesheets that generate both a database access layer and a Web Forms user interface with query and update pages.

Validate mutually exclusive text boxes

Meaning only one of them can have a value, but not both.

I suspect one validation control can't handle both.

Any ideas?

header and footer problem

Hiii Coders,

I have made all the pages of my wesite centered aligned using the following code in masterpage:

<body background="Images/bg2.gif">
    <form id="form1" runat="server">
    <table style="width:960px; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; background-color:White;">
my content
</table>

No doubt, it works fine ut still it shows body background from top and bottom. I don't want to show it from top and bottom. Means that website should be centered align from left and right sides only whereas should display my form/webpage fron top and bottom.

plz helpand provide some code snippet

Tablix Header missing on last page of PDF output

Tablix Headers don't show on last page of PDF and TIFF output.   I've tried all things mentioned including installing SQL Server 2008 Cumulative Update# 7.   My issue is that I have a Tablix with some header rows that repeat fine until the last page.   On the last page they are hidden.  This appears to be true of PDF and TIFF output.  THere are other issues with Word output.   The standard HTML viewer works fine.   So its clearly a PDF renderer issue.

Page Header, PrintOnFirstPage=False, HTML render fine, PDF export leaves extra space

As it says in the header.Setup:SSRS 2008, VS 2008 SP1Local Mode, rdlc fileDesign:Make a 1/2" Page header with a text box in it. Set PrintOnFirstPage=FalseBody contains a Table that spans multiple "hard" pages.Results:Renders to HTML in the report viewer just fine.PDF export leaves blank 1/2" at the top of page 1. With no header for page 1, I had hoped it would remove the extra space the same as in the report viewer.Question:Any way to tell SSRS not to leave space when page header is turned off for the first page?Attempts:Tried putting everything in a rectange in the header and set the visibility to false. Still leaves space.
