Finding the Special Characters in a given string

Posted By:Pravin       Posted Date: December 30, 2012    Points: 40    Category: ASP.NET Controls    URL: http://www.dotnetspark.com

Here I have coded to get the special characters in a string and highlighting it in the label control.

string strSymbols = "! @ # $ % ^ / ? ~ \" \\ & * ( ) _ + -";
        string[] strSplit = strSymbols.Split(' ');
        int intCountChar = strSplit.Length;
        string output = string.Empty;
        for (int i = 0; i < intCountChar; i++)
        {
            if (txtParticipant.Text.Contains(strSplit[i]))
            {
                output = strSplit[i];
                lblSpecialChar.Text = "Please remove special character " + output;
txtParticipant.Focus();
                blnReturn = false;
            }
        }
