Ultra Find is a
Find in Files substitute for Visual Studio 2010. Take advantage of
Windows Search and sift through millions of lines of code in seconds.
Ultra Find also enables you to:
- Search for classes and methods
- Exclude file patterns
- Zoom in Find Results
- Highlight matches
- Configure presets
- Maintain an unlimited number of
Find Results windows
Using
Windows Search is not required, but is highly recommended when searching across large code bases.
Ultra Find is multi-instance friendly and keeps its settings and search history synchronized between multiple instances of
Visual Studio in real time.
Zoom in and out of
Find Results by using the mouse wheel (while holding the
Ctrl key) or by changing the zoom percentage located next to the scroll bar.

Maintain presets and restore your frequently used search settings:

Change navigation behavior:

Customize colors by changing the
Find Results Window color category in
Tools > Environment > Fonts and Colors.

See

How to Give Feedback and Report Problems
Your questions, comments and suggestions are welcome! Please visit the
Ultra Find blog site
to leave your feedback. Sadly, the discussion area had to be disabled
here in the gallery because some people heavily abused this, and
regrettably the gallery
does not provide a way to moderate discussion, so your feedback is
happily accepted through the
blog site, and is strongly encouraged.
If
you experience issues, please do not use the ratings section to report
issues. Instead, please report any issues on the blog site before
considering to leave a bad rating.
By using the blog site, you will be able to interact with the author,
and other people using the extension, and potentially troubleshoot
issues you may be experiencing so that the problem can be fixed. Thank
you for your patience and understanding.
