I was asked to install a Dot net aplication developed on 32 Bits environment on customer server which has 64 Bits.
By seraching in the Internet, the fisrt solution I found was to compile the application under a 64 Bits machine using a 64 Bits Dot Net Framework.
This solution is quite annoying as it requires to make 32 Bits compilations for customers having 32 Bits servers and 64 Bits compilations for customers having 64 Bits servers.
Finally the solution I found was quite simple:
In IIS and under Application Pools, select the Application Pool you are using for your aplication and write Click, tehn select Advanced Parameters (Paramètres avancés in French), then in General section and in the fisrt option displayed changed "activate 32 bits applications" from False to True and Voilà! you can know run your 32 Bits applications under 64 Bits machines.
