I have used two buttons and one text box. one button is "hide the folder" and other one is "show the hidden folder"
Imports System.Diagnostics.Process

Public Class Form1
    Dim s As String = ""

    Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        s = TextBox1.Text
        Start("attrib", s & " +r +s +h")
    End Sub

    Private Sub Button2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button2.Click
        s = TextBox1.Text
        Start("attrib", s & " -r -s -h")
    End Sub
