How to insert a new column in DataTable at a specified position?

This Code Snippets explains you, How to insert a new column in DataTable at a specified position
 

Unfortnately the Data Columns class does not have an InsertAt method. But we can achieve same by using SetOrdinal method of data column.

 

Please see the sample below.

dt.Columns.Add("Salary").SetOrdinal(2)

This will add "Salary" Column to third position of  data table dt.
