What are the recovery model?

This article helps to learn about multiple recovery model.

Basically there are three types. They are,

1. Full recovery model
2. Bulk-Logged operation
3. Simple recovery model
Full Recovery Model:
It is a fully logged operation. In this model, Point in time restore operation is possible. we are able to take full,differential and log backup.      

Bulk-Logged operation  :
It is a minimum log space for bulk opertions. Space allocation and deallocation is only logged for bulk import operations. In this model, Point in time restoration and point-of-failure may be possibe. we are able to take full,differential and log backup.

Simple Recovery Model:
It's nothing but truncate on checkpoint. Transaction log are not backed up. Once transaction commit to database it automatically remove or erase the all transaction information. We are able to take the full and differential backup
