Lambda Expression to select distinct from a list and print

Posted By:Jean Paul       Posted Date: October 26, 2010    Points: 15    Category: LINQ    URL: http://www.dotnetspark.com

We are having a list containing 5 string items. We need to remove the duplicates and print the distinct ones using Lambda Expressions. The filtering code is done in just 1 line - otherwise it would have taken multiple lines to complete without using lambda.

IList list = new List();
list.Add("Mr.");
list.Add("Mrs.");
list.Add("Master");
list.Add("Mr.");
list.Add("Mrs.");

list.Distinct().ToList().ForEach(title => Console.WriteLine(title));

Console.ReadKey(false);
