How to get the count of total user visits on a page?

Posted By:Jean Paul       Posted Date: September 30, 2010    Points: 10    Category: Javascript    URL: http://www.dotnetspark.com

This code snippet can be used to get the total user hits of a page in a synchronized manner.

    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        Application.Lock();

        object value = Application["HitCount"];
        if (value == null)
            Application["HitCount"] = 1;
        else
            Application["HitCount"] = int.Parse(value.ToString()) + 1;

        Application.UnLock();

    }
