Grid view control using sql server

Sql server date will be get onto "Grid view"
 

Create a table to sql server then drag and drop the data control.
then copy the following code.
Imports System.Data
Imports System.Data.SqlClient

Partial Class _Default
    Inherits System.Web.UI.Page
    Dim con As SqlConnection
    Dim cmd As SqlCommand
    Dim dr As SqlDataReader
    Protected Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        cmd = New SqlCommand("select * from charl", con)
        dr = cmd.ExecuteReader
        GridView1.DataSource = dr
        GridView1.DataBind()
        cmd.Dispose()


    End Sub

    Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
        con = New SqlConnection("server=ANONYMOUS;Trusted_Connection=yes;database=charles")
        con.Open()
    End Sub
End Class
