concatenate all values of a column

Posted By:nishithraj       Posted Date: March 26, 2010    Points: 10    Category: SQL Query    URL: http://www.dotnetspark.com

concatenate all values of a column

DECLARE @ConcatStr VARCHAR(MAX)
SET @ConcatStr= ''
SELECT @ConcatStr= @ConcatStr + FieldName +',' FROM Table
SELECT @ConcatStr

We can append all the values of a specific field to a string variable.
We can use the concatenation operator '+' to achieve this as above.
