The section of the Web.config file is used to specify the configuration

settings for a browser component. It allows you to manipulate the capabilities of the

 

browser client that accesses the Web page.

 

The syntax for the section is as follows:

 

browser="(type)"

version=(version of browser)

majorver=0

minorver=0

frames=(true or false)

tables=(true or false)

platform=Current OS
