SQL 2005 with Windows 2008 Enterprise problem

Hi frnds,,,


i am using Windows 2008 enterprise edition... i have installed VS 2008 it installed properly and working...

now i want to installl SQL 2005... at the begining of installation itself its showing compatibility issues like it needs SQL server SP1 or later version.....




please telll me how to install sql 2005 successfully in windows 2008 and make it work

Hi,

SQL Server 2005 requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (SP2) to run on Windows Server 2008 and Vista SP1. You must first install the full release version of SQL Server 2005 before you can apply SQL Server 2005 SP2.
