Hi,

Thank you all for your response. I visited this link, but this is not exactly what i am looking for. I would like to elaborate:

There are 2 labels with two textboxes.

Eg: No. Of Checkpoints : 10----> user enters the value
No . Of Cars : 5----> user enters the value.

There is a button "CREATE" by clicking, I want a gridview in this format:

Columns(No.of checkpoints): chkpoint1.........chkpoint10 (since the user assigned 10)
Rows(No. Of Cars): car1.... car5 (since the user assigned 5)

Basically, the no of rows and columns should get created by user input

Thanks in advance

Is it Web App or Windows App

If it is Windows app then you need to write

this.dataGridView1.Columns.Add - any of the overloaded parameters
this.dataGridView1.Rows.Add - any of the overloaded parameters

First let us know what is that you are trying to achive using this...So we can suggest what is best

Regards
Dilip
