saving childs form changes from parent form(MDI-Form)

hi,

i am having four child form with MDIform(parent).

i am having "SAVE,CUT,COPY,UNDO,SEARCH,REDO" as menuitems in parent form EDIT menustrip.

i want to save,cut,copy,undo,search and redo the changes made on child form from EDIT Menustrip of parent form.


how can it be done...

you can locate Running Instance of Any Form (child form ) using

Application.OpenForm[] that will return you the Instance ..

now work on it ..Suppose you have Form1 as Main Form and C1 as Child you want to Execute ChildForm's ShowData Method then

((C1)Application.OpenForms["C1"]).ShowData();
