users should not enter into my multiline textbox

hi

in my page im having multiline txtbox which is having some value.

while the page is running i dont want anybody to "type anything" into the txtbox and disturb my value.

some time for problem in firefox problem for multiline

hi,
u can set textbox1.Enabled=false;

You can also set textbox1.ReadOnly=true. This won't affect the text color.

Hi,

You can use
textbox1.ReadOnly=true

or on Page load u can make it Readonly Dynamically as follows.
textbox1.Attributes.Add("readonly", "readonly")
