how to insert different languages in database

how to insert different types of languages in database as i am using
MS-SQL 05 (using querry).
Ex: insert a french word into the database in french script.

To insert the different language you need to make sure that instead of varchar you use nvarchar similarly you can use nchar instead of char as a datatype of the column.

and in similar fashion how you insert the value in varchar similarly you can insert the data in nvarchar datatype column.

Hi Jay,

While designing the database table you need to create a column of your table with data type NVARCHAR to accept French character.

For eg

id int NOT NULL,
username NVARCHAR(50) NOT NULL

ok after creating table how to insert values into the tables. as we cant write french script in sql05 .thats my question...
