Difference between Cryptography and Encryption?

Hi,

Whats is the Difference between Cryptography and Encryption? Today i came across the term Cryptography is this is same as Encryption?

Hi priya,

Cryptography and Encryption are not same terms but are connected. Cryptography is the science of hiding the data or making the data secrete, secure. Enctryption is a part of cryptography or one of the methods of making the data secure.
