Hello Vikas,

Yes mobile application and their pages tag is different.

Here we need to understand one thing that all the 2and 3rd generation mobile phone have the capability to browse webpage so any other website can be open in the mobile phones but

Mobile application and there tags are different take a look of the Mobile application tags

<mobile:Form id="Form1" Runat="server">

<mobile:Label id="Label1" Runat="server">Enter Your Name</mobile:Label>

<mobile:TextBox id="txtname" Runat="server"></mobile:TextBox>

<mobile:Command id="btnSubmit" onclick="cmddisp_click" Runat="server">ClickMe</mobile:Command>

<mobile:Label id="lblmsg" Runat="server">

</mobile:Label>

</mobile:Form>

Now there is not much changes in the code level but yes the Markup level there is need to change the code to like above ones..

For more details on Mobile application architecture you can refer this Video Tutorial

http://www.asp.net/mobile/architecture/

And yes you can develop your mobile application using Visual Studio

Thanks
Amit

Thanks,
Amit

You may require the Service Pack1 to avoid any issues that you may face at the time of development.
