Navigation in of ASP.NET pages with Menu Selection

Posted By: Jai     Posted Date: September 12, 2008    Points:2   Category :ASP.Net
Hi All,

I am using VS2008/3.5 version.

I have a menu and few ASP.NET (VB) pages. With each menu selection I need to open a page and I want the menu to be permanent on the left side and depending on the menu selection i want the page to be opened on the right side.

I read that this can be done with Frames or Master page. I did not understand the concept of both, ie how to attach them to menu/pages. Can anyone explain bit in detail.

Thanks,
Jai

Hi,
You should use Master Page to achieve that. This article will be very useful to you to you to understand Master Page concept.
