Ajax Editor Control

Posted By: sriram     Posted Date: November 03, 2009    Points:2   Category :ASP.Net
i'm using ajaxeditor control, whenever page is postback, text area is going to be minimized and maximized(its blinking everytime when page is postback) and not getting focus on control when requiredfield validation is fired
The performance of using this control is also too slow. its taking so much time to load.

how to avoid blinking the text area of editor to the user.

<asp:UpdatePanel ID="updEditor" runat="server">
<ContentTemplate>
<ajaxToolkit:Editor ID="editDetailedDes" runat="server" SuppressTabInDesignMode="true" AutoFocus="false" ActiveMode="Design"/>
<asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="rfvDetailedDes" runat="server" ValidationGroup="Submit"
SetFocusOnError="true" ControlToValidate="editDetailedDes" Display="None"
ErrorMessage="Detailed Description Of Problem is required"></asp:RequiredFieldValidator>
<ajaxToolkit:ValidatorCalloutExtender ID="vceDetailedDes" runat="server" TargetControlID="rfvDetailedDes">
</ajaxToolkit:ValidatorCalloutExtender>
</ContentTemplate>
</asp:UpdatePanel>
