transport failed to connect to server

Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: The transport failed to connect to the server.


Source Error:


Line 84: System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "192.168.1.1";//use ur SmtpServer Number.

HI Srichanti,

It seems like you SMTP server information is wrong. Please check the SMTP Server IP Address and also if it requires authentication than supply the smtp user name and password for authentication on SmtpClient object.

Hi Srikanttchi

First check ur codings using with gmail smtp port 465.

And some format is not correct in ur codings
