Building Error is Coming

Hi All
i am working in windows application with vb.net
when i am building my application the below error is coming every time
please help me ???

unable to write to output file "D:\MyProgram" .pdb:Access is denied

Hi Santosh,

I guess you are using Visual Source Safe (VSS) or some version control tool if yes..than check out the release/ debug folder in VSS and than build the solution..

Specially check out the ".pdb" file.

No Amit i am not using any VSS.this is just a simple application but at the time of boulding this error is coming.i think any setting i need to change??
after cleaning it i am again building also same error is coming??

Hi Santosh,

Than it will problem with the debug/release folder Read Only issue.. Give a try to Remove the Read Only option from the respected folder..

hi amit
debug/relaese folder also not read only.
actually before it was working ,just before 5 days i added some code and one form also
after that this error is coming??

HI Santosh,

Well delete the ".pdb" file its not necessary for installer, it is containing the debug information. So delete that file and check..

It may be security issue to give permissions to right click .pdb or Folder and go to Properties, and made sure that you have all permission assigned to your user,you can assign he user everyone.
