SQL 2000 Connection string problem on hosting server
October 14, 2009
I am using vwd 2005 & SQL Server 2000.
Now I got 2 problems -
1. How to Copy the SQL Server 2000 Database on Hosting Server(What i mean is where to search SQL 2000 Database file on my local PC)?
2.What Connection String to Use (should work on Hosting Server)?
Thanx in Advance....
Pls help me...

You can populate data into hosting server in 2 ways
Take the backup (.bak) file and restore the .bak file into hosting server (If you are using 3party hosting every hosting company control panel provide this interface to restore backup file)
Generate the sql script and run this script to your production database
Regarding your 2nd question
You have to assign the server pointing to your hosting database in your web.config file or where ever you wrote the connection string. Connection string format will be the same as your local db but the value will be changed..
