Delay in building project - how to avoid?

Posted By: Pranav     Posted Date: October 12, 2009    Points:2   Category :Others
Hi All,

I have created an Outlook 2007 add-in using VSTO in VS2008. When I build the project, it is taking much time for building the project. I have used the same system for developing Outlook 2003 add-in. It worked fine and built the project in short time. After this, I have installed MS Office 2007 and its PIAs(Primary Interop Assemblies). Then I got the proble. I have also tried installing MS-Office in a fresh system and built a project. It is also taking much time.
Do I need to select any option while installing Office 2007?
Can anyone please tell me what might be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

-Pranav

Hi,

Even I face the same problem I guess it the problem with VSTS only. I raised this problem to Microsoft development group waiting for reply from them.
