How to pass the ID in php

Hi all,

Could you please help for the below-
I have an article taht i am taking from database and at the bottom of the article i ahve put one read button. I want when user click on the button in the next tab the details of the article should get open corresponding to the ID of the articles what i have in database. i ahve done this in .net but not getting that query string in PHP.

Any help will be highly appreciated !!

Through get by id.<your value> you can pass id using php.

But when I have a link with an Id, I can't pass variables:

<a href="home.php#sectionID?var=home">home</a> <--!this doesn't work of course -->

access this on another page by get method:

$file_name = $_GET['page_name'];
