Nothing big friend create a table named emp with name, designation, TopLevel etc
Then using self join for designation and toplevel. So you can access each one's top level. This is just my idea only.. please check ... after cretae my table data look liike

emp
-----
id name designation toplevel
----------------------------------------
1 das MD null
2 tass Project Manager 1
3 kiran Program Anslyst 2
4 Jeevan Programmer 3

So jeevan's top level or head is id 3 ie kiran like wise going.. I think it may help u..wait for others guidelines also
