Updating Stored Procedure

Hi,

by using stored procedure ..i am updating my table.

but my requirement is...before updating the table....that data should insert into other table.

any suggestions?

In the stored procedure you can add an insert statement to insert the values you are going to update.

When you call the stored procedure it would first insert the records into the another table and will update it.

In the same stored procedure write procedure to insert the value also. Then it will first insert than will update.
