The difference between asp:Label and asp:Literal control

asp:Label control
asp:Label control is used to write text on the page with different formatting options like bold, italic, underlined etc.

asp:Literal control
Literal control is used to write simple text on the page, you can use server side formatting options like bold, italic, underlined.

Exactly,

Label, We can use for string formatting Also we can use some html tags, It does not support all the tags.


In Literal control is fully support HTML format.Literal is good for mobile site development, because we can use one literal dot net control to write all printable statement with HTML alignment.
