Hai Narayan,

Code file is the code behind file which is attached with your UI while the class file is the separate .cs file.

Hai Narayan,
If you want your code file is as a separate file, then you need to provide the reference of the code file in your.aspx so that while compiling of the files, it should understand that which is its code file to compile. if you provide the wrong reference, it will show you the error that the code behind file is not matching.
Hope it will give you some idea.
