I am new to .Net technology, I have created a master page and added a content page to it i can view that page completely in my design window but when i try to run the page only content page is visible.
Moreover I am only able to view the footer of master page and header is not visible while i run the code.

It seems that you are using both the HTML and ASP.Net formatting styles in your page. Like you might be using the <table> and <asp:Table> controls in your master and content pages.
So make sure that either you should use only the server side formatting style <asp:Table> for the Master and Content page.
Hope your issue will be resolved.
