MDX working in Select, but not in calculated member

Posted By: gpaolano     Posted Date: March 19, 2012    Points:5   Category :Sql Server
I am trying to calculate how many closed tickets there are in the same date range as received tickets, even though they are different date dimensions.

This query works with a select, but not as a calculated member:

[Closed Date].[Weeks].["
[Received Date].[Weeks].CurrentMember.Level.Name
+ "].&["
+ [Received Date].[Weeks].CurrentMember.Member_Key + "]"
,[Measures].[Call ID Distinct Count]
ON 0
, [Received Date].[Weeks].[Week].MEMBERS ON 1
FROM [Cube]

The error I receive when I tried it as a calculated member is "The 1/1/2009 string cannot be converted to the date type."
Interestingly, it does calculate the All member.

Thank you for your assistance.

Data Type of Date Column .you are setting the date column's Data type is string. So change to Date column data type into DateTime. Please backup your database and change the Data Type.
