Hi,

Yes it possible to open visual studio 2010 project in Visual studio 2008

1) Open your VS 2010 .sln in notepad

2) Search for :

Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 11.00
# Visual Studio 2010

(you can find this on the top itself)

3) Change the Version 11.0 to Version 10.0 and Visual Studio 2010 to 2008

4) Save and open your project using Visual studio 2008

Thanks,
Amit
