File Reading in C# Windows Application

Hi all,

i am writing an application which is reading a file
but i want to know how to write an application which will read files from a particular folder.

please help me

What sort of files are you trying to read?

You can use the DirectoryInfo class and the FileInfo class to retrieve file and directory info then use streamreaders to process the files.

However, some file types have much better methods for processing, such as XML which can be read straight into a dataset.
