how to set countdown in alert mesasge in javascript

hi
can any one plz tell me how to set count down in alert box using java script.
my aim is to show the timer count down in alert message and once it will become zero then alert message should close

Hi,

I don't think so that you do this in alert box used by java script.

But you can achieve the same on the page itself.

Try

Create a HiddenField in Designing Page.
Create a javascript to increment the Hiddenfield value to make alert.
While page Redirection pass this HiddenField value and use this value in next page.
