Hi,

Query online and offline groups separately then after loading data add one nodes say "Online" and add all users which fall under online to this node. Then add one more node say "Offline" and then add all users which fall under offline to this node.

In case you want to show all users with out any parent node then you can use any color scheme to separate the online and offline users and put the legends label below tree view control.

Hope this helps.

Hope this helps.
