difference between oracle and sql server?

can any one tell the

1) difference between oracle n sql server??????

2) and what changes/updates are there in oracle 8i oracle 11g.

One of the basic differences between Oracle and SQL Server is they have their own customized SQL languages.
Oracle has improved Standard SQL language to PL/SQL and Microsoft has developed Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
