Get XML difference

i am having two columns whose data type is xml in sql server 2005, i need to compare this two xml columns and get the xml difference in query, i do not want to process it on UI how it can be achived...thanks in advance

Hi,

Retrieve the values from both the columns and store them in string variable. Once done with this you can use the solution in the below link to find the difference between two strings.
