To Start With Dot Net

Posted By: Indraneel     Posted Date: February 26, 2011    Points:2   Category :.NET Framework
Hi All,

I am a freelancer developer. Developing applications in Vb 6.0. Now I want to shift to Dot Net. I just want to know, to begin with, which version of Dot Net (VB.Net) should I learn? Should I learn Dot Net 2.0 and then to gradually cover latest versions? I don't exactly know the evolution after 2.0? Please guide me in this regard.

Thanks in advance....

Hi,

You should start with .Net framework 2.0. There are great enhancements in this version and gradually upgrade yourself on latest versions like 3.0,3.5 and 4.0.
