Does an ASP.NET application closes and restarts if a thread inside it encountered exception?

Hi,

Thats Interesting question...as far as I know

ASP.Net doesn't start itself..Its IIS has that capability that if a thread encountered any problem it will restart itself.

Correct me if I am wrong
