Hi

Configure SQL Database Mail as It'll use SMTP Protocol and Send the mail using SP_SEND_DBMAIL system stored procedure for the newly registered records based on some flag (i.e: registered Date)

Cheers

If not I then who, If not now then when

Hi Shweta,
First Add a new field in the user table named IsActive as Bit
Now Set the default value of this field is false. use the dot net email functionality to send
email (http://lakhangarg.blogspot.com/2009/04/function-to-send-email-aspnet-c.html)to the user
and also send a link in the message body, that will contain encrypted user id in the query string.
now when user will open that link, Decrpt the user ID and validate the user and
update the value of ISActive column .

Thanks & Regards,
Lakhan Pal Garg
