Posted By: Abhi Kumar     Posted Date: February 09, 2011    Points:2   Category :C#
I am working in C#, I am displaying records in a DataGridview. Now, I need to edit a Record into a new small window upon selection of a record. Edit should be done on Button Click. Deletion can also done in same way (only through coding MS Access/ADO)..

Hi,

I assume you added a hyperlink conrol for edit and delete.

create data bound event. In this event we will get each using e.dataitem.

then find the hyper link HyperLink hlEdit=e.Row.FindControl(<name of control);
hlEdit.NavigateURL="edit.aspx?id="+<set valus of id from e.Row.Dataitem>
