Sharepoint External List and Current User

Posted By: sbarrett     Posted Date: February 08, 2011    Points:2   Category :SharePoint
I've been racking my brain on this for a few weeks now and it's finally come time to reach out for help. I'm not much of a developer so I'm looking for a little "dumb-ed down" guidance.

Minor Environment Details:
Sharepoint 2010 environment
Forms authentication as my login method
SQL Server 2008

I have a data connection coming from a SQL database into an external content list that shows lead information. I have a column in that SQL database called Your_Email_C, which is the lead owner's email. What I'm trying to do is create a filter that will only display the rows where the Your_Email_C column matches the current logged in user's WorkEmail.

Any helpers out there?

Hi sbarrett,

This can also be done by setting a filter in the List view.

Let me know if you need any help.
