System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

Hi i get the server error as shown below and the message was:
System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.
I'm actually using Visual studio 2002 to run an already developed application. The same code when run on a different machine had no problems.Do i have to change any settings in visual studio.some one please help me as this is giving me a lot of prblm.thanx in advance

Following is the one showing server error

//Following is the line which gives an error.

myTable.Rows.Add(new object[]{ string.Format(facade.rtnStat.returnText) } );

dv = new DataView(myTable);

Please check the value of the facade.rtnStat.returnText

Please check the value of facade.rtnStat.returnText, this may bot be a string value.
