decimal point representation in uriTemplate

Posted By: hema     Posted Date: November 30, 2010    Points:2   Category :WCF
Hi,

In my WCF service, one of my function has floating point value as input parameters. But I have configured them as string only as follows.

[OperationContract]
[WebGet(BodyStyle = WebMessageBodyStyle.Wrapped, ResponseFormat = WebMessageFormat.Xml, UriTemplate = "device/{lat}/{lon}}")]
string UpdateLocation( string lat, string lon);
When I run the service and call as following it gives error.

http://localhost:xxx/xxservice.svc/device/456.989/89.090/

Can anybody help me to solve this issue?
