installing error -sql 2005 developer edition

My PC is running on MS Windows XP professional Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2,Pentium(r)4 CPU 3.00 GHz, 3.00 GHz, and 512 0f RAM.
while installing sql 2005 server (developer edition) following error occur

i m unable to install the sql server.can anybody help me to solve this problem

MS windows xp home edition does not support sql server2005 developer edition. You have to use XP Professional and 1GB RAM will be better than 512 of RAM.

hey m using XP Professional still unable to install sql server do i have to uninstall the visual studio 2005
before installing sql
plzzzz help its urgent
