hi, i've .net application in vs2008 and hosted in windows 2008 server and i've sharepoint server 2010 in the same windows 2008 server.
when im writing the object model coding to call sharepoint 2010 site from .net which is in vs2008 like

siteCollection = new SPSite(url);

im getting the following error.

The Web application at http://scshyd-100/ could not be found. Verify that you have typed the URL correctly. If the URL should be serving existing content, the system administrator may need to add a new request URL mapping to the intended application

Thanks!!! in advance
