you can have a datagrid and using stored procedure you can fetch the data from the
database according to your condition and can display it in the grid

You can use dropdown list with two values in that dropdown list as ASP and C#.
<asp:DropDownList ID="ddlData" runat ="server" >
<asp:ListItem Text="ASP" Value="2" ></asp:ListItem>
<asp:ListItem Text="C#" Value ="4"></asp:ListItem>
<asp:Button ID="BtnSubmit" runat ="server" Text="Submit" />

In code behind--> use BtnSubmit.Click event
in that event--> you can get the selected value using Me.ddlData.SelectedValue
Using that value you can get the details from database by comparing that value with Categoryid.

Thanks and Regards,

Let me explain my question.

Likewise, i click a C# interview question in gridview which are getting generated from data base.

The database has following column Question title,posted by, category(like c#),posted date,catid(id of c#),questionid(id of question in c#),question.

what i want to do is make a single .aspx page and whenever i click any question of any category,it should
take me to single .aspx page with content of posted by,posted date,question title,answer.....
