Control Timer event

Posted By: Akhil Raj     Posted Date: September 06, 2010    Points:2   Category :C#
hi,
I am in windows service development. My service some operations in a specified time interval. I am using system.Timer.Timer for this purpose. But when if i put less timer interval, second time elasped call before finish first elapsed operation. I search and got the solution is Timer.Enabled = false when elapsed and after finish the operation again enabled the timer.

My question is, Is this a good solution any other good solution is avaiable for this? I dint get any method.
