The Following are the DataSoucre Controls
1)SqlDataSource:- Enables binding to a SQL database represented by an ADO.NET provider, such as MicrosoftT SQL Server, OLEDB, ODBC, or Oracle.

2)ObjectDataSource:- Enables binding to a middle-tier object such as a data access layer or business component.

3)AccessDataSource:- Enables binding to a MicrosoftT Access (Jet) database.

4)SiteMapDataSource:- Enables binding to the hierarchy exposed by an ASP.NET 2.0 site navigation provider.

5)XmlDataSource Enables binding to an XML file or document

The basic difference is , when the you map them with gridview or other data controls,
the way the data is displayed.
